Legend: the # symbol means the note is Sharp, for example on either E string 2nd fret: F# would be F sharp
The b symbol means the note is Flat, for example G b would be the G flat note. Therefore F# and Gb are the same note, as sharp = higher or higher than the F pitch and flat = lower pitch or lower than the G etc. So,the whole note G neither flat or sharp would be 3rd fret on either E string and so on.
